1-3 years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Basic understanding of aviation meteorology.Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or technical school.Completion of Risk Analysis if required.Interfacing with flight crews to advise of passenger needs or requirements both in-flight and on the ground.Assisting in development and maintaining security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of Sky One Holdings, LLC customers, employees, facilities and equipment and communication policies/procedures as needed to passengers.Ensure that the Flight Following communications are continuously monitored.Understand and be able to execute the procedures established in the Emergency Response Program (ERP).Continuously check the GOM, FCM, and FSOM for instructions and policies.Coordinate with other locations in order to facilitate the “on time” operation of planned flights.Keep current in all aspects related to Operations Specifications, the content of the GOM, FCM, FSOM, AOM, and FARs.Obtain updates in the case of ongoing maintenance. Request from Maintenance the status of all aircraft, including: inspections and routine maintenance requirements, and outstanding MELs that may affect the performance of Company aircraft.Issue the flight release for individual flights considering the above factors.Fuel cost shall never compromise safety, either with respect to weights or reserves. Verify the proper fuel loads for the flights under his watch, giving consideration to the relative cost of fuel at various FBOs.Ensure that the operator does not use any airport unless it is properly equipped and adequate for the proposed operation.Advise Crew of other information that may affect the safety of the flight ready for the crew to review in sufficient time for a briefing. Knowing the FARs and Company policies to remain compliant with the same in all operations.Ensuring that aircraft schedules meet with any airport/airspace restrictions.Submit APIS for all international trips and confirm NO Fly and Selectee Lists for all trips on aircraft with a maximum certificated takeoff weight of 12,500 lbs.Coordinating aircraft handling, catering, and fueling with fixed based operators.Coordinating with outside aircraft services handler for international flights as needed.Obtaining for both passengers and flight crew any necessary permits or visas when flying into and out of foreign countries or working with appropriate vendor.Provide flight crew with Trip Pack, weather information, trip briefings, fuel advisement and route briefings.Verify crew, route, airport, and special airports so that qualified crews are available for flights.Significant delays should be briefed in a timely manner. This information should be made available to flight controller and crew scheduling personnel. The Flight Controller will have all general flight information flight plans, NOTAMS, INTAMS, weather, and any maintenance.Any known conditions that may adversely affect the safety of flight.Maintenance and mechanical delays encountered at places of origin and destination and intermediate stops.Departure of the flight from the place of origin and arrival at the place of destination, including intermediate stops and any diversions there from.Ensures that each flight is monitored with respect to at least the following:.Ensure that no flight is released to a destination or via any airspace not authorized by Sky One Holdings, LLC Operating Specifications.Flight Controllers have the delegated authority, from the Director of Operations, to release Sky One Holdings, LLC flights in accordance with all applicable regulations.
